The Blaze 86 builds on what the other Blaze models are known for: lightness, versatility and agility. Without Titanal, the Blaze 86 delivers a lighter, more lively feel. Designed for quick, tight turns, its multi‑radius sidecut also handles steeper terrain, higher speeds and longer turns with ease. The suspension tips and tails provide stability, add flotation and increase durability off‑piste. A modern, sustainability‑focused construction enhances its performance: bio‑based resin lowers environmental impact, flax‑carbon elements improve damping and smoothness, an FSC-certified wood core increases stability, and multidirectional glass layers boost responsiveness — all while contributing to a reduced CO₂ footprint. The Blaze 86 is also a strong option for ski touring, offering excellent downhill performance at minimal weight. With its lightweight full wood core, it climbs efficiently and provides an intuitive, playful feel on the descent, except in very deep snow.
